A little about me...
My name is Anne-Marie and I am a fully qualified counsellor holding a Degree in Applied Counselling from MIT.
I am also a provisional member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC), and operate under their code of ethics.
I have worked in healthcare, education, and corporate settings in a variety of roles, but always with a focus on helping others.
In 2004 I completed my Diploma in Naturopathy, which helped me to understand how we can improve our lives from a holistic perspective. This along with my counselling training, allows me to better understand the mind, body and spirit connection.
When I am not counselling, or spending time with friends and family, I like to practice the art of slowing myself down in this very busy world. I am working to achieve this by connecting more with nature as well as practicing Meditation and Yoga (which my cat and dog have taken to joining as well).
I live with my family in the beautiful Hunua ranges (South of Auckland) where we have a crazy collection of farm animals and a view I never get sick of looking at.
That is just a bit about me – and I look forward to learning more about you!
